2024-09-29 08:58:26 +0000 UTCI don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but the show is derived from the story of the pied piper of hamlin. The town hired the piper to remove the rat problem they had, he does by luring them out, but then the town refuses to pay after the job is done so he lures all the children out and hides them/kills them. Pffeifer is a play on piper and West/New Ham are a play on Hamlin!
