It came out the year I was born, so I cannot say I remember LOL . While I have seen it a few times and enjoyed it, it is definitely not the first film I think of when John Hughes is mentioned.

I agree. Scar Jo's character isn't great in this movie either......she definitely should have distanced herself as soon as she found out Bradley was married. Her treatment of Conor wasn't great either. I think there is a distinction here, though. Scar Jo wasn't the one who is married and Bradley definitely was. She has never met the wife and, for all she knows, it's not a good relationship. This is probably what happens to the other woman in this situation all the time--they know it's wrong, but convince themselves there's a connection and the wife must be horrible if the husband is willing to cheat. I don't think Scar Jo's character was horrible. Flawed, definitely. With Conor, once things ended with Bradley, I think she appreciated the stability and genuine affection that he was offering and thought that she would try and come around to feeling the same. I think that her breaking it off when she realized she was not going to get there is a definite sign that she is different than Bradley. If she was like Bradley, she would have stayed with Conor and cheated on him with someone else. Her choosing to be alone is a sign of growth. She's not innocent, but she's not nearly as bad as Bradley.

“Oh, I have to marry Jennifer Aniston, shucks.” Lol, Rob. Let’s be honest, Ben Affleck doesn’t have a good track record with Jennifers. Gigi and Alex are definitely the romance of the movie. That part with Bryce reacting on his own was hilarious.
