Sorry just saw this now. Patreon doesn't notify me when someone replies to my comment on a post that isn't mine. But yeah, the first few seasons are not too bad but seeing as they often talk over scenes (which usually I'm not that mad about) it definitely would be. It's the kind of show where if you miss an episode or even just a few scenes you have no idea what's going on lol.

2024-11-26 06:59:25 +0000 UTCI'm just going to casually point out that the writer of this movie, Aline Brosh McKenna, also wrote The Devil Wears Prada (and co-created the brilliant show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which I'll continue to push for here lol). So, it was more than the NY fashion being paralleled between this film and “the devil wears prada”. I love how she writes dialogue and the complexity of her characters, especially the women. This was such a fun reaction and movie to rewatch. May we all someday see James Marsden smiling at the end of a wedding aisle.

Judy Greer (Casey) was indeed in 13 Going On 30 which is probably the movie you were thinking of Rob, but she's known for playing "the best friend" in rom-coms. She also played Jamie Lee Curtis's daughter in the newer Halloween movies. And fun fact: The director for this movie, Anne Fletcher, is the same director as for The Proposal, which also starred Malin Åkerman (Tess) as Ryan Reynolds' ex.

She had already admitted to him that she had been in love with him, and the whole "what if?" would've been at the back of their minds for the rest of their lives had they not kissed. This way they could rule out anything between them and she could finally move on for certain.
