Not really. It is nothing Damon hasn't done before, and completely makes sense to his character. If fans were blind to it in the early seasons then there is no reason to hate it now.

The whole point of the werewolf thing is uncontrolled anger which leads to violence. It is not that he wanted to bite her, but saying it is impossible is naive. He can lash out uncontrollably under those circumstances. Sometimes he is not even aware that he bit someone (Damon, Nadia etc).

The writers really tried to get Damon fans to turn on him this season… flies off the handle, kills Aaron because he hurt over Elena …. thing is, I didn’t care about Aaron. ….Urgh this season. I can’t wait for six.

The TVD cast were some the most underpaid actors comparatively to other CW shows. Don’t know if Bryce is joking or still genuinely doesn’t know but Nina Dobrev got paid the same amount as Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley. She didn’t have multiple salaries for portraying multiple characters. By the final season, those 3 got $40,000 per episode. Even with 22 episode seasons, that feels really low to me. For comparison (not CW but still) the Jersey Shore cast was making over $100,000 per episode by the final season of the original show and they’re all for the most part talentless reality stars. TVD actors were fs underpaid.

I very much agree 😂 soon as he forced himself on Vicki I knew he was a wrong-un. It was WAYY worse in the books. Originally he went after Elena, but he gets better each season unlike Damon.

i can see how you thought that actually. i didn’t get around to rewatching the full episodes of when they were on the screen together , and from the way it was in reactions at first it looked like they gave flirty looks to one another, then was dismissed later by Tyler. I’m not gonna give any future spoilers away bc the boys haven’t gotten to those eps yet, but the whole main reason was just Tyler is a trash bf to Care. however, from the clips i did just watch, i can 100% say it definitely did seem one-sided. so my bad guys! ❤️

To be honest, It always felt one-sided to me. I felt like Hayley was the one who originally had some sort of feelings for Tyler but he was just focused on making sure Klaus didn't know they were helping other werewolves braking their sire bond to him.

Re: what Bryce said… Enzo is English in the show (irl has an American accent). All the Originals have English accents in the show (but the Elijah actor irl has a New Zealand accent. Rebekah actor irl has an Australian accent. Kol actor has an Australian accent.) Hayley irl also has an Australian accent.

In general i don't like season five, i like some episodes, i think season six is far superior, even in relation to delena. I also have to say that katherine was good until season 4, i don't like her in this one, not even as an antagonist. I think after the originals left there was a big void, maybe that's why i'm not such a fan, in season six they managed to sustain the stories very well.

I’m a Delena shipper. I’m not a fan of season five, season six is way better and their chemistry is way better in season six. I think the chemistry was a little off. That with the writing just made the season feel kind of bleh. I remember being very thankful for The Originals when this season first aired lol

Tyler is in his right and needed space at the moment to process everything, Klaus has done terrible things with his life, but it's not like Caroline did it with the purpose of making things worse for him. She's done a lot for him since we found out he was a werewolf, fought as hard as she could for their relationship and then he broke up with her. I feel bad for him? yes, but it's not like I don't remember who Tyler was. As a couple, they were very good during the second and third seasons.

Respectfully, Idrc about Aaron but tbh his death pretty much encapsulates why I can’t root for Damon & Elena as a couple. It’s not just that he hurts her, it’s the way he hurts her, it’s so specifically designed to punish her for not being with him. It’s such a human way of hurting someone so I find it hard to turn my brain off when it happens.
