Esme and John had two kids together and John had four from his previous wife. I'm pretty sure Esme also took her step children with her when she left.

I look back on what a (kind of) minor character Ada was in season one and it's just really cool to see how both the actress and character have grown. It's interesting to see how Tommy - who in the past has indicated he doesn't believe in anything, reverts back to his Gypsy beliefs in a time like this out of a desperation. And I could understand Lizzie's frustration with that - the fact that he was chasing shadows while she as dealing with the very real nature of her daughter dying.
