the best show, and you guys did a great job all the way through. my theory is that Mosley did have the doctors create the medical crises for both Ruby and Tommy. Ruby had recovered before Tommy took her to Holford at his own place... she gets fatally ill only after that visit. Also, all the seizures we witness occur after he goes to visit the doctor himself - where he throws up and gets seen. I think the tablets he's given cause them. Mosley was genocide-level evil and of course would have no problem infecting Ruby and setting up Tommy's seizures and fake terminal illness. We may get answers, but on rewatches this has seemed all too clear a timeline.

I knew Michael was cooked as soon as they were playing Mozart's Requiem for him in the first scene. What an epic finale; thanks for an enjoyable watch with you gents!

To clarify about the dr, a lot of fans believe the gray man ruby was referring to is dr holford, which I think is why they always had him wear a gray suit, and I think Tommy believed that too, as in he sat in rubys room and let her die, but he wasn’t. I’m pretty sure he did try to genuinely care for ruby, but she died regardless. Oswald sending his condolences at the table a few episodes was def an intentional scene as to if he knew ruby would die, but I’m almost positive he didn’t know. They left it all pretty vague and I think that was intentional sort of for the viewers to go crazy over it with Tommy. I hope it will be addressed in the movie.

btw, there are youtube videos you can watch that go into theories regarding Billy and Finn.

We didn't know about the movie when this ended, and even thinking this may be it, I was very happy with it. One of the best finales for me. I really loved so many scenes - Tommy and Arthur (again), Lizzie and Tommy and Charlie, the "steampunk shootout" as I like to call the scene at the Garrison, Tommy's goodbye dinner in the woods. Such a beautiful show. One of my Top 5 TV series. I do think Michael wasn't wrong with what he said at the end, though. None of them can escape him. That is the tragedy of Peaky Blinders. Thank you for reacting! My top 5 Reel-Time reactions have been: Derry Girls, Fleabag, Succession, Interview with the Vampire, and.....Peaky f'n Blinders!

Do we know if they had to restructure/ reshoot this season after Helen MCcory’s passing? Because I always find this episode abrupt/rushed no matter how many times I watch it. I felt Michael took a massive backseat this season and didn’t feel any build up to the season climax
