i thought about the fact that she’s barely in it too, but it’s always been recommended on other movie posts in different genres, so i think people just wanna see it reacted to regardless and know that this was their chance lol. it’s still a good movie so it’d be a fun reaction anyway

And who said you couldn't do that? I'm simply saying that the option that's most aligned with their tastes often places last. Now, if you want my opinion, here it is: it's fun to see them enjoy and *react positively* to things, otherwise the video gets very boring very soon. I think the sweet spot is having something that both they and the audience will enjoy... recently, I feel like it leans way more heavily towards the audience, and it's why (as far as I'm concerned) the content hasn't been quite as good recently. When the guys love something is when we get all their best moments. You can disagree all you want, it's simply another opinion. I'm not trying to convince you to vote a different way lol

I’ve seen comments like this in the past. I still don’t get the whole “____ should win because they will enjoy it the most.” I’m not expecting them to love (or even like) everything that they watch. And I appreciate when they are honest about their dislike of something (Pride & Prejudice comes to mind immediately). If they just had a YouTube channel where they were watching solely things that they are interested and asked for recs, then sure, I’d recommend stuff that I think is right up their alley. But we’re paying to be here. Many of us are going to keep recommending and voting for stuff we love and want to see their *reactions* to. The hope is that they will enjoy, but it’s cool if they don’t.

At this point, neither of those films are going to replace Ocean’s Eleven. Erin Brockovich is our best bet if we want a Julia film to win. Votes can be switched, just fyi.

Right?! I’ve never even seen it, but even I am aware that she’s not a lead character. Her role as Erin Brockovich won her Best Actress. To quote Julia as Vivian in Pretty Woman, most people shock the hell out of me. 🫠

Quick note in hopes this is seen if we do get Tick Tick Boom— there is actual footage of Jonathan Larson that plays over the credits, so while it doesn't have to be part of the reaction time obviously, it might be nice to watch through the first part of the credits or include a snippet of it ‼️

I agree. Ocean's Eleven is great, but she's barely in it, and her character is unremarkable. Anyone could've played her. Erin Brockovich shows off her acting skills. Plus, I feel like the guys would really enjoy it and have great commentary.
