Even tho im a huge delena fan, I did have a soft spot for stelena, it was what Elena needed at the time to feel whole again. But I will stand on the fact that stefan and Elena as friends is their true selves. No more pretending or having to be something your not. I feel like they also have more real conversations about each other and their lives. This episode also proves my opinion that what Julie said could've happened was false and just bait. S5 was closure and a goodbye to stelena. Like stefan Elena cant be in love and friends with damon at the same time, her feelings for damon are too strong, while with stefan she can be his friend. I love that they talked about their relationship being important and basically what they both needed at the time. I love their friendship. Its more honest and healthy.

Then 3-10 is downright horrible. 5x11 is obviously good as it’s the 100th episode. 12-14 is just vile because of the whole body swap. 15 is good and really emotional. 16 is bad. 17 & 18 are just a fun little thing, but not top tier. 19 is bad. 20 is ok. 21 & 22 are insanely good, top tier episodes. So as you can see it’s mostly all bad lol.

The stuff in the visions like going on dates and cooking for each other actually happened in reality when they were together s1-3, whereas with Damon & Elena we just get bickering and breakups then sex and the bi-weekly love declarations – it’s exhausting.

I agreed to still being friends with my ex even though Ik I still had feelings for him and every time I see or talk to him it hurts so bad because I think of all our memories of wen we were together and how it’ll never be the same. But I also can’t take not having him in my life at all even if it is just being “friends” so Damon not wanting to be her friend is completely understandable especially since in their situation they BOTH know there still inlove with each other so it’s like what are we doing? When they know they could never just be friends
