UB Rebirth [WIP]

First behind-the-scenes post, have a peek at this mess! First image is the current planned evolution I have in mind for Sunflora, and the second image is the design history so far... As you can see I'm extremely picky and incapable of settling on something lol, but I think I'm close!

At some point I came up with an overarching theme - a cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Life is represented as a seed, death is a withering flower, and rebirth is the flower developing into a seed pod.

I'm thinking UB Rebirth will have some lore about capturing lost spirits in its seed pod and reincarnating them as Sunkern, or something like that. Thought it would be visually interesting if it physically held its head in its arms, or maybe the head being completely detached, or just floating. Can't decide which one I like yet though, but I may hold a poll soon? Would love to hear your thoughts!
