Unnamed Region: Grass Starters [WIP]

This week I'm showing off some designs from my unnamed Hong Kong region project!! As I mentioned before, this region is very much a work in progress and these designs probably won't be seeing the light of day for quite a while... You guys get to see them though!

This region's starter trio are really important to me mainly because they have been in the works since 2020!! They've gone through a lot of changes over the years, though I think I've finally landed on a general direction for them. To start off we have the Grass starter: Foaliage, Overcolt, and Magnolin (Grass/Fairy)! Based on horses, donkeys, the qilin (mythical Chinese creature), and magnolia trees.

Fun fact, this design is the most recent of the starter trio. For a long time the Grass starters were a pinecone-themed pangolin, though I ended up demoting that design to a non-starter line. Might show em off later!
