UB Polyp
Added 2024-08-30 18:00:09 +0000 UTCThe first UB of the Ultra Deep Sea and the pre-evolution to Nihilego, it's Devoyid!! I figured giving each of the canon UBs (except Poipole sorry) a pre-evolution would be a neat expansion on their designs, so I'm happy to finally present the first!
Devoyid is based on a mix of jellyfish ephyrae and polyps (the start of the life cycle). The name is derived from "devoid" and "id" to mirror "nihil" and "ego" Tried to go for a more vague design that has a cute, yet weird look! Originally I didn't want to give it any eyes, but it was feeling kinda empty up there. I was hesitant since its pretty important that UBs have a nontraditional face design (or no face at all), but I think I landed on something that works well enough!
