I thought I had the auto-roles set up. Turns out Patreon had just made a brand new role instead of assigning the already-made Patreon role. Woops.
As per usual, tag me on Discord if you don't have your roles. I'll include a new link at the bottom of this post.
I love the Discord community. It's been a blast getting to know you guys and making some genuine friends. This is honestly the first time I've ever made friends through an online community (Actually met my wife through a dating site, so you'd think I'd be more open to this stuff!)
That said, I need to get serious for a second here, so please pay attention.
Being a patron does NOT exclude you from posted rules. I appreciate your support, but it does not give you free reign to inappropriate or offensive. If you are being a jerk or upsetting other members, you are being treated the same as anyone else who screws up. I have blocked a patron before for this very reason.
Also, please let me or one of the mods know if you're a legal adult. If you are, we will make sure you have access to rooms that have political venting or humor we won't be posting in the general channels.
The Discord is not for children, and some of the patreon rooms are ABSOLUTELY not for kids...and if you're lying about your age? We can tell. So please save us all that hassle.
Sorry to get serious, but just because someone is supporting me that does not give anyone the right to be a pain to anyone else. This has been a problem and I do not want it to be a problem again.

Trust me, it means a lot both ways. Also I probably will try to join the server again, I'm just not really used to servers with more than two or three hundred members, and I'm only in those because I'm either friends with the Creator or I made the server myself, so there's a certain sense of security. Joining one like yours is a bit like getting out of the kiddie pool, taking off the water wings, and then diving out of a helicopter into the ocean. BUT I'LL MAKE THAT PLUNGE FOR YOU NICK, YOU WATCH ME! ... haha okay I'm sorry I'm done

I grew up embarrassed about being a fan of all this stuff and didn't really have many people I could talk to about videogames and other nerdy things. So it means a lot to me that these silly videos and my weird humor resonate with anyone at all. I don't know what else to say outside of thank you for the support, my friend. Means a lot to me.

Regardless I just wanted to tell you how much I adore you as a person, at least for as much as you display in your videos. Your humor, your word choices, your sentimentality, the way you express the things you're passionate about, it all resonates with me like no other YouTuber ever has. Sorry if this is weird, I just feel like we were best friends in another life or something π
