Update Blog: 6/27/21

Hey guys! Going forward I am going to be releasing monthly update posts to let you know what's going on. The more the patreon and channel grows, these will more likely become weekly updates. Since I'm only one guy, I'm going to keep it manageable.

 I have a couple of new videos in the pipeline for the next couple weeks that will be showing up for you first. I'm going to do my best to keep up with the promise of giving early access to patrons.

That said, we're also going to start rolling out smaller tiers next week. The one dollar tier will get you access to the exclusive Discord channel on my server and two day early access to new episodes of Sonic Speed Reading. I can't make that same promise for the huge videos as they may continue to be premieres, but that may be that.

But I will also be implementing voting for upcoming content, watch parties and Q and A's once we finally have a solid schedule, but right now I'm thinking of a Thursday morning and Friday night situation. 

The rest of this is just in planning stages, nothing's rolled out yet, but I need your feedback to make it happen:

I am going to also roll out some larger-reward tiers, and temporary ones once I have more of an art set up here so I can make exclusive art for you guys...but that one is way down the road, as right now it absolutely would slow down video output. That said, I did promise Kasey and Tristen art and that needs to happen first, and patreon also lets me know how much people have put towards the channel over time, so the long-lasting members are going to be getting something special regardless of whatever tier they choose going forward.

Then there's podcasts. I've always wanted to do more patreon-exclusive podcasts. I have two in mind right now. One: I do one with Not-Nick in the style of our conversation in the Chaotix video and we answer questions from you guys and give you more behind the scenes. Two: We do a monthly Q and A situation  and then record and release the audio exclusively to backers. I don't know, I thought that might be fun, let me know what you guys think. Once we finalize a schedule that can start immediately.

Discord is gonna keep on trucking, Masey and the mods (great band name) have been killing it, and I know they want to keep doing more community events. So be sure you pop by over there to see what we get up to. I'm going to try to get a little more involved on that front.

Lastly, merch.  I've asked before, but I'd love to know what you guys would want to see. Obviously whenever that gets rolled out I will be sure to get a discount as one of the rewards...but again, keep in mind, this is early stages. I have not made contact with anyone about making stuff, but once I have a set plan I would like to get this off the ground.
