2025-01-03 19:15:12 +0000 UTCSomething to note that most viewers forget is that because Esther was a witch, the Mikelsons were also suppose to grow up and be witches. Rebekah explains in TVD that you lose your access to magic the second you turn into a vampire because you can't be both witch and vampire. So technically Finn and Kol and all the siblings were suppose to have access to magic. It also explains why Hope was being called a New Orleans witch in S1 when they were trying to sacrifice her.
