Tatia has been mentioned a few times in TVD as the first doppelganger but it also makes more sense as there is always a bennet witch with the doppelganger. Amara and Qetsiyah, Tatia and Ayana, Katherine and Emily and then Bonnie and Elena

I know. Autocorrected

Neena is just great. Loved that in tvd 5x22 episode yall commented on her acting. She’s just awesome

I don't think it's too strange, it's presumably just whatever accent whoever's body he's occupying had. Esther and Finn both have american accents, so that seems to be from the bodies they're in. Also it's so refreshing to hear a range of British accents, not just southern ones

Susan Reston

tbf it’s not his accent. it’s such a weird decision to literally be english and decide to do a completely different english accent? i’m guessing they wanted him to sound different to Real Kol

Fran

maybe it’s the writing

brad

idk how kaleb’s actor can have an actual british accent and it sound so fake at the same time

brad

I already mentioned Amara she's the original face not a doppelgänger

Salma

Don’t forget Amira!

Jasmine Anderson

So we have the original face Amara, The first doppelgänger Tatia, then Ofc Katherine and Elena. Damn Nina!! 👏🏾

Salma

y'all blanked on this one haha, we've known about that doppelganger for ages, we've just never seen her before

Julian

We also knew since about season 2 (I think) that a doppelganger's blood was used to create the hybrid curse, which is why Elena's blood needed to be consumed in the sacrifice. And in season 3 we found out that it was also the doppelganger blood that was used to create the Originals in the first place. So even if her name was only mentioned once, the existence of a doppelganger at this point in time has been a part of the plot for a very long time at this point.

Klaus sacrificing his life to save cami >> Cami: "stay away from us">>>>>

bella

Yea it’s not really on them kol was massively underdeveloped as a character in TVD likely the next few eps will give them context

CEEKAY

Zuff.. Esther wasn’t lying 💀

Le’Andria 💛

they'd already mentioned tatia in 3x13 tvd but to see more details about tatia's persona really makes you understand why elijah was so drew to the human versions of katherine and elena

Melanie

guys let's remember that kol was the only one who actually knew how dangerous silas was (and they didn't take him serious and killed him lol) he has a lot of knowledge

Melanie

highly underestimated and overlooked by some people on this fandom but klaus literally died for cami, because that's what literally happened, if davina and kol weren't there he was done for and everyone in mystic falls would've drop dead because klaus decided to save cami and because of that, lose his advantage against mikael. also let's remember that klaus already had an opportunity to kill him and he didn't because he listened to cami, which yes, it was foolish but it makes you see how much he cares about her opinions and takes them in consideration which is very rare since we've already seen klaus ignoring the advices of his own family members

Melanie

THE RED DOOR!!

Salma

imo mikael is the strongest supernatural in the whole tvdu rn, he already was the strongest in his human form, we know he had advantage of all non original vampires because he is a OG, yet it's important to know that he's also stronger than his children, vampirism always hightened human traits, so all the physical and mental strength as a viking also heightened, which makes him superior to all the originals and equal to klaus (and enhanced original vampire alaric) because of his werewolf strength, now we can discuss that the werewolf strength is better than a viking strength heightened, yet mikael has something that klaus doesn't, the mentality strength, which is the thing that made him immune to papa tunde's blade, which is why in the last episode he mentioned to davina the importance of being able to dominate the pain

Melanie

The explanation for Kol knowing so much about magic was briefly touched upon in s4 of TVD, but there’s more in this show

Halima

Also in season 2! When Elijah first meets Katherine he’s taken aback and says “you remind me of someone”

Halima

Tatia was mentioned in season 3 of tvd briefly when klaus, elijah, stefan, and damon were having dinner lol. klaus was being all nosey with the delena vs stelena thing and was saying him and elijah should tell them about their triangle with tatia “the original petrova doppelgänger”
