In fairness to Tyler, Liv was in immediate danger from Kai so I don’t blame him for prioritizing her in this episode specifically. I also didn’t read it as Liv intentionally brought Damon and Elena back early but just by crossing into the anti magic area that did it automatically. And while they all definitely do owe Bonnie they also kind of owe it to Liv as she was the one who did the spell at the end of season 5 that brought them all back, even after she got her brother back so I can see them thinking she’s part of the group at this point. Fully agree on Alaric though, he had NO right to dictate how they go about saving Bonnie.

2025-01-18 03:36:33 +0000 UTCAlaric and Tyler made me so mad this season because what do you mean you’re not rushing to do anything to help Bonnie who is suffering and locked up in the prison world with a serial killer (because they didn’t know Kai was out at this point) just so you can protect Jo and Liv two people you’ve actually known five seconds and just decided all the sudden you’re dating? Like Alaric and Tyler are both only alive because they went through Bonnie when she was the anchor and she sacrificed herself knowing she’d die at the end but didn’t care because she wanted to bring them all back. None of them ever deserved Bonnie.

He took the car, leaving her injured and stranded. Kai cannot die in the prison world. It’s his prison. Bonnie, and everyone else can. That’s why we kept seeing Bonnie bandage herself up every time Kai kept hurting her
