2025-01-30 05:49:35 +0000 UTCI remember watching this the day season 4 was released and crying so hard through out it that I couldn't see the screen clearly anymore so I had to pause it. haha I really think it is such a fantastic series finale. It wraps up everything so beautifully AND a lot of fun little nods to seasons past. The wedding was such a great celebration for the family to have at the end of some really hard years. and it was a cool way to show of some more Indian culture. I love how all the friends were there and I thought it was so so so cool how they played Never Have I Ever.

It's true that this show just has so much heart, and, like Rob said, Devi's growth over the course of this series is significant. I love that they never sacrificed her strength, humor, temper, or her profound vulnerability as she matured. Benvi endgame at last, too ❤️ A final note: there is a gif set of that scene of Ben and Devi together on the electric scooter against the scene from s1 of Nalini and Mohan I'll link- https://www.tumblr.com/dragonsareawesome123/719625620570750976/102-410-never-have-i-ever-2020-2023. I think even if you don't remember the moment, you can feel the emotion of that parallel. What a wonderful journey. (Although I'm haunted by those last words- wtf does it mean, McEnroe??)

I was screaming at getting my benvi endgame and knew Rob would be cheesed as well. If you like this kind of stuff I highly recommend XO Kitty also on Netflix. You’d have to watch the third to all the boys movie first tho since it’s a spinoff series about Lara Jean’s younger sister Kitty. They just released season two in the last couple of weeks and it’s huge. 😍🤩
