yes elenas blood is the cure now, you missed it but damon said once elena took it he would just get it from elena and as long as the cure is in damon he wont age like katherine did because it got sucked out of her and since elena has only been a vampire for a little bit she wouldnt really age that far. hopefully that makes more sense

When his humanity is on, the feeling of feeding overcomes him and is so strong, that he feeds so hard that their heads rip off. Then his guilt makes him put the bodies back together again.

Just because they do tend to mention some important things you guys miss out on haha (i.e. how they were going to be able to take the cure together)
