2025-02-18 07:36:14 +0000 UTCthis season already feels darker, freakier and more strange! i can’t wait to see what these characters get up to… parker posey as the pill popping sedated mother is incredible i love her so much and then those kids with the incest vibes… 🥴 also the 3 women on a girls trip who secretly hate each other and are bound to erupt at any moment. walton goggins and aimee lou wood are great and i’m very interested in their situation. walton is so good. already so tense and so many interesting and bizarre dynamics between the characters and i can’t wait to see it all unfold with yall 😆

I hate to make such a dark assumption but...Saxon immediately sexualizes his siblings sharing a room but then gets physical with his sister immediately after? And the way he just continues to make things sexual and push boundaries with his brother at the end...and the younger siblings seems really uncomfortable with it. My prediction is that this family is the archetypal rich white southern family that has sexual impropriety bubbling underneath the surface, but no one talks about it. The sister seems like she doesn't even really want to be around Saxon, and the brother seems like he doesn't know how to process the things that Saxon talks about with him because he's been trained to look up to his brother. It almost feels like he's being pulled between his siblings - his sister knows that Saxon is dangerous in some way and wants to protect her brother from him. I think there's a possibility the Saxon has been abusive in some way towards his siblings. Some other details that I feel like points towards this - the mother telling the worker after the weird genital comments "You'll see we're just a normal family." It's like "don't acknowledge how inappropriate this is, this is just our normal!" I know it's a dark prediction, but I'm nearly positive that there is SOME kind of sexual dysfunction in this family, I'm just not sure how severe it is.
