2025-02-18 18:00:22 +0000 UTCi remember listening to the audio commentary once, and the director or writer talked about how that end confrontation scene between summer and tom didnβt really happen; or maybe it was that you (as viewer) could sort of decide if it happened or if this was the closure tom sort of invented in his head to move on (with his life, in all aspects of it). all of joseph gordon-levittβs interviews about this movie are good to me. he has a good sense of what the movie is trying to say and what his character represents. worth checking out! anyway, loved watching this again, and watching it with you three was fun. thanks!
