Behind the Scenes: Modular Ponyville Cottage
Added 2015-11-23 08:50:28 +0000 UTCI'm a very lazy artist. This laziness forces me to push to create something very elaborate that I can keep reusing. I never had any form of background residences in my vectors. So I thought it would be a good idea to do something about that.
Modular housing. I basically took a standard ponyville house lined out, filled with colour and grouped it into pieces. Said pieces can them be affixed to almost any part of a house to form new, varied houses. This opens up opportunities for backgrounds that will feel more lived in.
It's just this one house type for now. If I ever feel the itch I may tamper with the other Ponyville homes.
