The hamptons are on Long Island, New York… so many ppl know of the Hamptons but not much of Long Island!! It’s a good place to raise a family and be able to get into manhattan for work by train or car if necessary, hence why so many “rich” ppl from NYC go there for the summer..but there’s also lots of locals that spend their lives in these small little beach towns. I’m a Long Island native and it’s normal to go out into the hamptons either for a day or weekend or a whole summer, no matter what town you’re from.. Just a great community for relaxing.
