2025-04-06 03:50:07 +0000 UTCI agree that it’s Matt’s fault. What if it had been Caroline and he’d actually killed her? Then he’d be wracked with guilt over killing her too. The whole shoot first ask questions later shtick doesn’t really work in a town that’s home to vampires you know and are friends with. But Matt blaming Stefan makes sense from the perspective of a grieving partner.

2025-04-06 03:19:27 +0000 UTCI don’t think Matt has a right to tell Stefan where or where not to go, but I just think it’s pretty cut and dry that wherever vampires go, Stefan included, lives get ruined. I’m not here to argue you down, but I do think more people should try to see it from Matt’s side rather than not even trying to see why he blames Stefan. I used to hate Matt as well, especially when he did this, but eventually I started to truly understand his hatred for vamps.

2025-04-05 16:14:23 +0000 UTCI still feel like it’s Matt fault. Stefan had a right to visit Liz’s grave. Matt has no say on where Stefan goes or not. At the end of the day, Matt pulled the trigger on a vampire in the middle of the night. It wasn’t a smart decision at all on his part and it got his gf killed.

Not to sound rude, but Stefan and Damon have been known to ruin peoples lives. Bonnie is a great example. Killed her mom and caused the death of her grandma. Tyler is also a good example.
