If you remember in the last episode, Alex wanted something with Bonnie, Enzo went there and hid it, not knowing that the pills were poisonous.

But TVD fans lie saying that Ian asked them not to take Kat (Bonnie) out. Which doesn't make sense because Bonnie and Caroline are one of the main characters, after the trio of protagonists of course.
