dm29 presents: Ascension

Two years ago, and after the relative success of "My Fair Cadance", I penned another story involving Shining Armor and Princess Cadance, with the intention of doing up a second illustrated short story with it.

I put it off for a good amount of time, mainly because I didn't want to have it weigh me down and prevent me from doing regular pony art. But since that bout of busywork last year, I found that didn't lose out on a whole lot.

This means that even if I spent all of my free time on this, I'll still have my followers. So that wasn't bad. Plus, the show is on hiatus, so there is less urgency to be up to date with content.

ASCENSION is the story that fills the gap between Twilight's exile from Canterlot to the time before The Canterlot Wedding. That's really all I want to say about it for now. I'll have more story details leaked as I progress on the pages.

I intend to upload WIP pages exclusively on Patreon as I do them, with a one-page buffer between previews and development. However, I will be giving first dibs to $5 tier patrons and up, to gather any and all feedback. And when the next upload is ready, the previous page will be released for all patrons, who can still comment on it if they so wish. I hope this works out for everyone.
