we know they’re young and grew up in a rough environment but that doesn’t mean we have to excuse every dumb or toxic decision they make. trauma/having a rough upbringing isn’t a free pass to be toxic, reckless and selfish 24/7 and some of y’all act like being 15 means you’re incapable of basic decency. cesar and monse did some objectively messy stuff, and people are allowed to call that out. it’s not hate it’s being real.

Like they are babies and are forced to grow up fast because of the environment they live in, so when the fanbase are overly judgmental on these kids (especially Ceasar and Monse) I always side eye people because you can't honestly expect these kids to be able to make rational and healthy decisions considering how they grew up, ESPECIALLY CEASAR who had the worst childhood of them all because he grew up in a trap house with nothing but gang members around him. You also can't expect him to know what a healthy relationship is supposed to look like because like I said, he grew up with GANG MEMBERS, lol. With the reality of their lives being a nightmare, these 4 kids were able to forge a bond that's stronger than anything, that's what this show is about, the core 4 feeling like they have to say goodbye to one of their own was heartbreaking and the goodbyes at the bus station was one of my favorite moments of the entire series.
