"In the Woods Somewhere" Reaction/Analysis

Hey guys! So I recorded a blind reaction to Hozier's "In the Woods Somewhere" this morning. I was trying to trim the video when I got a notification on my computer that my disk space was low. So I started deleting things, and I must have deleted the original reaction by mistake. It's not there, and I can't open the trimmed file 😭😢😢

I LOVED the song, though. I loved the simple storytelling style and the suspense Hozier created through his syntax. I like how it reminded me of American Romanticism. I liked the symbolism of the woods. I liked the parallelism between the speaker and the fox. And I like how we get to witness the speaker realize that he does in fact want to live. He sort of surprises himself when he runs for his life, and I love the way Hozier deals with the complexities of life and death.

I am going to do a full analysis video for you guys. It won't be a blind reaction, though. I'm sorry 😭😭
