2025-08-18 21:52:12 +0000 UTCi think this episode perfectly encapsulates schmidt as a character. kind of a douche and a dumbass but well meaning and genuinely sweet. i think what draws a lot of us to his character is that for many of us ladies he feels like a safe guy. like he's a douche but not an asshole if that makes sense. you can see he genuinely has a sweet heart in there and his misgivings are more humorous than actually harmful. i just have such a soft spot for him lol
