2025-07-07 19:35:15 +0000 UTCI know it's ending on a big cliff hanger, but I actually really enjoyed this finale. So much closure! It was so gratifying to see Carm lift up Syd in the way that he did. Shapiro always felt like a subtle red flag. I think the mask slipped a little when Syd turned down the offer. Carm acknowledging that he thinks she is better than Shapiro and himself, is so vulnerable and tenderhearted. Speaking from experience, working in a creative field is so competitive and difficult, especially as a woman- when you find equally yoked people, it is so special! I think it's what she needed to hear to finally see the potential that has always been there for her. Perfect writing this season!!

2025-07-07 02:30:12 +0000 UTCWow I can't wait to see what you think about this one! Personally I wasn't surprised and and the whole show in my opinion has been building to this point. Such an amazing bottle episode with much needed conversations - the way that Syd says "you're my partner" destroyed me. I can't wait for season 5 and to see the fallout. I really hope that Carmy ends up rediscovering his love for food, without the chaos like how he cooked lunch for Donna in the previous ep. We have already seen that Syd and the current team at the Bear are making it a much calmer and smooth environment, so who knows, maybe Carmy could return and fit into that peace once he heals and learns how to exist in peace. Either way, I just hope that the family at the Bear still remains Carmy's family even if he doesn't return.
