WiP Sketch - Rillaroo
Added 2016-01-19 10:26:34 +0000 UTCWow, now here's a Crash character I haven't drawn in a VERY LONG TIME! (at least, not fullbody...) I think it was 2002. No joke! XD
Anyway I decided he could fit into the new OB universe with a perfect role, he will basically replace Komodo Cath's part in the story (thankfully he wont be anything like her!) where he works as an assistant for Dr N.Gin.
Dr Cortex rejected him as a failure because he didn't have the ability to speak - assuming Rillaroo was stupid. He also didn't possess the super-strength of most male gorillas or even male kangaroos. What made matters worse is that Cortex even forced him into circus clothing to make fun of him in front of the other minions. Because of this, Rillaroo is a very shy with a low self-esteem but he's friendly and helpful with those who are kind to him. He's also far from stupid, he simply lacks the ability to speak, due to the way he was mutated with a kangaroo.
So that's Rillaroo for you! Yes, I redesigned him to make his face more gorilla-like, as well as making his paws more kangaroo-like. Can't wait to colour him!
