Alien races (for my world)
Added 2017-01-14 10:48:46 +0000 UTCJust thought I'd share this bit of informations for some upcoming races I need to design. Still a Work in Progress, but it gives a general idea for them ^^
Alien races
Verpardi: Main race which is already established. Based on big cats and great apes.
Aleumarr: Secondary main race already partially established. Based on lemurs and rodents.
Karnifex: Based on Praying mantis’ with a bit of reptile, hive minded. Race is possessed by the Utori.
Phearox: Based on fossa with hints of reptilian, came from Aleumarr’s original home planet but went extinct long ago due to the Utori possessing them (and they were defeated by the Verpardi and Aleumarr).
Horian: Replacement for the blarg, based on fish (grouper) mixed with some anglerfish variants for others (such as Galilia).
Rastoenian: Replacement for the Rilgarian race, based on amphibians and tuatara.
Schinzard: A reptilian race closely based on lizards, more specifically the skinks. Their tails are known to fall off when grabbed, stood on or when they get too excited/stressed.
Pywaka: Fantail/pixie inspired race, small and cute looking, but are known to be grumpy. Very intelligent and good with tech.
Caefelian: Generic Feline/Canine race, common throughout the galaxy. (placeholder name for now, maybe?)
Aelfomen: General humanoid/elf like race to replace Markazians, relatively common race. No tails, just long ears and some stripe skin markings.
