DBS Lineart busts

Haha what is this? :P something different I suppose!

Well I guess you could see that I've been on a bit of a Dragon Ball Super phase lately. Truth is, I've always been a fan of DBZ since I was a little kid, but then I mostly forgot about it over the years and then the magic of DBZ Abridged got me interested again and then that led me to watch the new series, Super! XD Thing is, I dont care about the 'strongest' and all that jazz, I just really enjoy the humour, characters, their everyday lives and some of the big battles. It's just entertaining to me :-P

And the latest arc has been so great (in my opinion) that I've grown to like the series even more and the characters - and want to do some artwork for them! Very rare for me to open up to new franchises in my art, however this wont be the same as Crash & Ratchet - I have no desire to make fanfics or even fancharacters for the DB universe. So no, you wont see any big projects and stuff for this. I'll just be drawing the odd fanart now and then ^^

Anyways, I felt like drawing some headshot/busts of my favourite characters from DBS! Trust me, it's hard to choose a favourite, but these guys really draw me in.
In order for those who dont know the characters - Hit, Jiren, Beerus and Android 17. Hit is a badass assassin with a cool design, Jiren is a powerhouse superhero with some 'serious issues', Beerus is a god of destruction who's hilarious yet dangerous, and Android 17 is a pretty dude who cares for nature, is super chill and also pretty damn tough.   
But Jiren... he may be my main favourite of the cast. I don't want to spoil what he does and what he is, but man! He really draws me in because he has some parallels that remind me of what I've done with Ace and (now) Kaine... I'll have to explain that in detail sometime later.
I do like more characters too such as Vegeta, Bulma, Whis and Piccolo though (they'd be the follow ups xD) I like most of the main characters really. I'll likely have a crack at drawing more soon!

I wanted to start small so I can try and get a grasp on these characters - I've never drawn ANY DB fanart in my life. So... yeah XD was interesting to have a go at these dudes in my style! Though I did stay true to their designs in the process ^^ hopefully I'll have these guys coloured over the next few days... I haven't used my Copic markers in many months.
