New Artwork 'Sunspire'

Really proud of this one - feels like I got a better colour understanding, and at the same time more freedom with it, as rocks don't really usually look like this. I love the contrast of warm to cool colours though.
This started as a painting with a high format (as you can see in the sketch I posted a few days ago), however midprocess I just had to change it. I guess that says something about the need to plan more before actually starting, which is something that I still underestimate in its importance.
Anyways, happy with how this came out - I hope you can imagine yourself standing there, feeling the breeze of the ocean.
