New Artwork "Wizard's Study"

Hello everyone!

This was a piece that took so long in its takeoff that it was only yesterday morning when I contemplated about posting an update for you, so that you know that I'm still alive. At first, there were several attempts to hit the mood with gloomy weather, then nighttime, then sunny like the end result shows. After almost throwing the complete painting overboard but realizing I like the idea, but not the planned lighting, I decided to stick with it and somehow finished it rather fast after this decision. Especially the background felt almost like a sprint.

In this sprint, a new way of painting clouds also revealed itself to me - it is interesting how most times, learning something like this is more a matter of "discovering" rather than learning.

Anyways, I'm glad that it is done now, I hope you like the piece. There are way too many ideas in my backlog still, but ideas and inspiration are fickle mistresses.
