New Artwork "Return"

Hi everyone, back with the ligne claire style!

It seems to me that I could learn a lot from doing all these different styles. This was actually painted on a rather small canvas, and I feel like it makes the lines more quirky in a way, a bit more chaotic and less smooth as with a large canvas and smoothed out sketches.

This feels a bit like returning home after a long path, as lineart was the thing that kickstarted my dormant art journey some years ago. It feels good to reconnect.

There is an important lesson to be learned from changing artstyles over and over again - there is no "I should, I have to, I must", and there does not always have to be the whole path laid out in front of me. Expecting too much from myself in the future leads to suffering, which then stifles the artistic ability and consequently just enjoying art and life in general.

I'll just follow the path to where it leads me, this is one of these cases where having a fixed point on the horizon makes no sense at all.
