Hi everyone!
The Wizard returns! Wanted to show you the not finished lineart already since I like that house so much. As you can see, the original sketch (sorry that it is so blurry, it was really small when I made it) has an angle that is showing us the scene from a way wider angle. Before going to bed late at night it suddenly struck me to move things closer to us as the viewer, which I then did, yet only with the foreground. It seems to work much better this way, and is hopefully more engaging for you.
Sometimes I hear artists who say "my art sucks" all the time. Which is in my opinion really just damaging their own self-worth and how they're perceived by others. The opposite definitely isn't sensible as well - but I feel my lines have improved in the last few pieces. As I certainly struggle with being proud of myself in most areas of my life, I'll take it as a chance to be proud of this at least.
But enough of me just muttering along my thoughts - have a nice week, talk to you soon with the finished piece!
Best,
Simon
