New Artwork "Wizard's Travels: Hillside Home"

Hi everyone!
The wizard is on his journey again through the hills, probably drawn by the smell of fresh bread as travelling can be rough. He usually gets all sorts of provisions from people, as he is skilled with mending things that were broken through his magic.

The new brush works pretty great, if it feels well on the next piece, I'll update my brushpack again for everyone who has already bought it.

The more I paint grass, the more I love throwing in more and more colors and exploring them. The same goes for the trees - when working with all these green tones, just a minimal change in its hue, saturation or brightness makes all the difference. The lightest tone on the tree behind the house has been changed three times until it felt right - but it's worth it.

Have a great week everyone!

Best,
Simon

Thank you so much! I don't have a clear tutorial about this. Two things that changed my perspective forever: the concept of "hue shifting" which can be googled and understood pretty fast (of course it still needs practice like anything). The other is this video by Marco Bucci on colour harmony https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LhcNbFMkTw&t=7 If you'd like feedback on your colours, let me know 😊👌
