New Lineart/Sketch of a City Entrance

Hi everyone! This one is going so fast, I almost forgot to take progress pictures for you. As you can see, the first thought was to have a huge tree on the left side, but it felt a bit like the piece needed to be able to "breathe", so I decided to "close" the composition with that small forest, which I feel like is working pretty well for the piece.

Now I'm starting with the colors - recently, I have been thinking a lot about doing only black and white lineart. There are some absolutely amazing artists out there like Nico Delort or Sina Simbürger, both of them are just insane with their lines, especially Nico with the way he creates values ( https://www.google.ch/search?q=nico+delort&client=safari&sca_esv=592338360&hl=de-ch&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj-j9WEy5yDAxUPov0HHfcaCk8Q_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1128&bih=1361&dpr=2 ) (I hope you can open this, it is definitely worth it).

Seeing things like these puts some people down, but it just inspires me to get better with every piece. As I've said before, the greatest thing about doing art is that you literally never are out of opportunities to learn until the day you die, even if you would get to live to 300 years of age. That makes it exciting and worth pursuing in my opinion. But enough of this, I'll see you soon with the finished piece.
