Hamtaro the Movie: Adventures in Ham-Ham Land - Revamped

And as the main dish, the big surprise!! 

This is the second time this movie has been revamped. We first revamped it for Hamtaro's birthday only a year after the original release.

There was still a lot of work to do, however.

And so, for Hamtaro's anime 20th anniversary, we decided to give another try to the movie. And NOW we can really call this a revamp!

We fixed some really small timing mistakes, that are barely noticeable but bothered us, and improved about 30% of the lines of the previous script. By "improve" we mean that we changed to more accurate translations, a bunch of lines were completely overworked and we believe that it changes a big chunk of the plot, so don't think that it will just be the same movie with small changes in dialogue!

We also translated a few segments that were left unsubbed in our previous attempts because, honestly, they were (and still are) really hard to grasp. But we have improved over the years and it clearly shows! Mainly, there were three major chunks of movie that were unsubbed, and now they are subbed with accurate translations!

This time, we decided to go all out and work on the songs too! A few songs (like Ham Sushi and DJ Ham's songs) were unsubbed, so we translate them. And then, we added karaoke to the opening and Ai No Uta! Funny thing: if you take the subtitles and make your own softsubs, you will see a different opening than the hardsub version. We honestly have no idea why lol

As a cherry on top, we used Whippu's high quality rip for the movie, which is slightly better than the last rip we used, which had pixelated scenes here and there. Now you can watch Ham-Ham Land's precious scenery at the best possible quality.
