Eat Me ch23

I tumbled out of my flesh and fell into disorientation as I struggled against the world’s attempt to force me to pass on. The ground and sky spun as I ricocheted without rhyme or reason. Nothing was keeping me in this world other than my own will, and I felt that was shaky enough. For a moment, I was tempted to possess enough rock to make a golem body. After a few centuries, it would seem quite human. But I settled on something nearby instead.

A male body struggled against my control for a second before I separated it from the body and let it dissolve. Unlike with Harry Potter, my qi was under control. I was no longer in a human body, and getting out of the wards could be impossible. I felt my oversized pointed ears and stared down at my weak body. Even as my qi flooded this body, it would take months or even years to adjust properly. Supersonic flight was out of the question.

Even if I got out, no one would recognize me. Elf magic didn’t feel the same as Harry’s wizard magic. But, at the same time, I could start over with a clean slate. Harry was stuck with all my current plans, and I could go to the states and start over. That could be an option if I didn’t look like a WOW elf.

I turned my attention to the crying light skinned elf in front of me. She rocked back and forth, clutching her knees to her chest. After looking around, I recognized the dollhouse. Some light filtered through, and Iris was there staring down at us with hungry eyes. For the first time since coming here, I regretted everything.

She reached in with her grubby hand, and I blasted it with an underpowered qi beam. Iris shrieked and pulled her hand away. Then, when she raised her fist high to beat me into paste, I blasted her again. The giantess screamed and fell on her butt. The light-skinned elf looked up at me with shock in her eyes.

“Elrok, how are you able to do that?” The she-elf said. I shook my head and turned away from her. Leaving them to their fate as food for a giant didn’t sit right for me.

“We should get out of here while we have a chance.” If the girl’s father came in, I might have to get serious.

The world quaked, and the house rumbled before the door shot open. The girl’s father saw his crying child and quickly stood over the cage. “I’ve tolerated these things because they can’t hurt you. But, since they chose violence, so will I.” The giant yelled and raised his fists, ready to crush every elf.

My voice amplified through qi loud enough for him to hear. “Then violence it will be.” Then I shot a qi blast from my palm, and the giant’s head exploded. Blood, bone, and brain fragments fell all over the floor, and I felt instant regret. The giant’s body fell, and Iris screamed. “If you want to blame someone for this, then blame Harry Potter; he forced my hand,” I said.

Iris waled and hugged her father’s body. It always escalates so quickly. The second something goes wrong, everything else inevitably snowballs until the bodies pile up. I blasted open a door in the dollhouse and left. The vampires were still out there, and they had time to kill Brunnera, and I had a feeling they were heading here. The gravity in this place felt particularly low. I imagined there was a cash of eezo or something nearby.

There could even be parts of the reaper or something else hidden away in this home of ice and stone. I decided to leave and lick my wounds. Harry Potter had taken back his body; what use was I in this world now. Everything was already set up, and I had a body of my own. Also, I was trapped here.

“Elrok, aren’t you going to kill the other one. She is a worse demon than her sire.” The she-elf said.

I held up my hand, and the world turned a shade of red, and Iris turned to me with eyes full of fear. After a month of sleeping with her and enjoying her hospitality, I couldn’t do it. Slowly I lowered my hand and let the blast dissipate.

“The vampires are coming, and they probably already killed your sister. I suggest you get out of here and find a safe place to hide.” She screamed out all her loathing and hatred, unleashing a blizzard even as I increased the heat around me. There was no magic within me anymore, and I thought then that my link with Cinder had also vanished. Harry Potter had proven to me without a shadow of a doubt that souls didn’t exist. That bond had been purely magical in nature.

We hurried out of the home of ice just as the vampire army charged in. I waved my hand, and a cyclone of qi ripped into them. Their bodies exploded as waves of dense qi ripped them apart. Magic was weaker than qi because I worked with my qi for years and only did the barest of work for magic.

If I had wizard magic, I might have been able to stop Iris less painfully. Focusing on my bond with Cinder, I could have called her here to flame me and the elves out. Magic could have altered the wards in this place to let me out. I could have used it to find Harry Potter and tried to recapture the body. Now it felt like all I could do was destroy.

The lady elves sandwiched me between their bodies and breasts, pressing against me with all their might. “You’re amazing, Elrok; when we return to the tribe, the elders are sure to make you a noble.” I felt terrible, but for the first time since waking up in Harry’s body, I also felt horny.
