Multiverse And A Vampire CH30

Existence was pain that we all relished. Clones popped and respawned infinitely as we battled one another with the light of morning. We destroyed one another and absorbed the memories, feeling the pain of obliteration and knowing it was our future. We stood atop a flowing whirlpool of molten rock as our Seventh Divine Cruz attacks sheered away cave walls. Holes opened in the earth for the magma to flow down as we continued our battle. Aura cloaks battled against the heat while chakra control kept us standing on flowing magma. We struggled to hold on to what little chakra we had and used the light of morning to steal the chakra of other clones.
Stars and planets danced across my fingers as the crown of pride appeared on the back of my hand. At first, we had to use both hands to use the skill, but experience had slowly chipped that drawback away. Six generations of clones ago, we had to use one hand. I pointed the finger at a nearby clone before golden light surrounded his body, blocking my attack.
I skated across the river of molten rock as golden beams of light blasted through afterimages left behind by my speed. That was another use of the skill I hadn’t thought of before and couldn’t imagine coming up with. So, I blasted the magma in front of the clone to obscure its vision and raised both hands before jumping.
Our goal was to train the skill Seventh Divine Cruz.

At this point, we were about to hit the Sovereign level with our qi control, and we had no idea what would happen after that. Our qi control was tens of times better than lvl100 qi control already. The final jump to the Sovereign level would increase our qi control by another realm. It was unreal.
We theorized that qi control was the bottleneck preventing us from using Seventh Divine Cruz through our eyes. Lacing our body with aura or qi allowed us to use Seventh Divine Cruz without exploding normally. The last clone who tried to jump from hand to eyes exploded. That gave me an idea.
I synchronized the wavelengths of a Seventh Divine Cruz in each hand and fired the attack. The resulting beam blasted through the magma curtain and the clone. Then, I received the clone’s chakra and memories to make my own shield. That’s when I felt it.
Our qi control hit Sovereign, and it was like walking on water for the first time. There were so many things I could do with my increased qi control. My first change was my aura cloak. A constant Seventh Divine Cruz merged with my cloak, forming a stronger defense. One of the others grew a set of wings before flapping them in an attempt to fly.
The attempt failed and was repeated several times. One clone made a jet pack and hovered while others created boosters from their feet using a concentrated form of ascension to give their qi more impact. I thought about the dilemma for a second and decided to use our increased qi control to my advantage. My aura was a physical extension of my qi, and qi flowed through every cell of my body. So I moved my qi up, and my body followed.
My body hovered in the air, ignoring gravity completely. The other clones stared, and I knew what they were all thinking, I was a genius.
“Captain on deck,” One of the clones yelled, and the rest of us scrambled to form a line. Captains were the original clones the original made, who in turn made us. They were given direct orders, and we clones followed them.
“Clones, one of you is being reassigned to infiltration. While normally, we would create a new clone, it would be a waste of precious chakra. We are on the cusp of reaching our goal, and the lot of you will either pop or be reassigned anyway. After reviewing memories, it’s come to my attention that the only clone from my original batch is number 4.” I looked down at my armored chest to see a number 4 and stepped forward.
“Number four, create a clone and dismiss it.” I complied, summoning a clone into the world only to ruthlessly snuff it out. All my memories returned to the whole, ensuring the original had all my advancements along with the others.
“What is my assignment?” I asked.
“You’re going to Kuoh Academy to spy on the devils, ascertain the location of Tsukune Aono, and fuck Rias Gremory and all the girls in her peerage. Record all of it so we can send it to Tsukune’s phone.” The Captain Skill Training said.
I floated off the ground and saw gases rising into the dark night sky. None of the others attacked me while my back was turned, not that it would do them any good with my high-powered shield. Ascension was obvious, and I was looking for my dual skill technique.
Kuoh wasn’t far, and I could sense Tsukune’s qi from hundreds of miles away. It was like a bright but dirty light in the dark. When I reached a certain distance, popped clones wouldn’t give me many memories with their chakra. Only the original could receive full memories at any distance. After all, I’m just a speck of the original’s power.
I flew high until I nearly left the atmosphere. Stars brighter than I’ve ever seen stood over me, and it felt like I could turn back time through my eyes. Many of the stars I saw had burnt out millions of years ago, and I felt a kinship with them. Sooner or later, I would pop, and that would be the end.
My body traveled to Kuoh in a matter of moments. I let chakra mold over my body as I swapped a few things around until I had a jawline that would make the ladies lose their undies; I gave myself blonde hair but kept my glowing green eyes. How could I get rid of my own qi? I could mold my chakra to make them any color, but the green would bleed over eventually. So, I chose to go with green. My clothes changed into a nice suit though my skin maintained a healthy golden green glow.
After my aesthetics were changed, I went for my qi. I altered the frequency and upped the light aura from Seventh Divine Cruz to completely shield my qi. When I landed, I felt a ping running off my qi and went to investigate. It was massive, and I was curious.
I made my way through the streets in time to see a black-haired fallen with four wings radiating green and golden light blast a fist-sized hole through a brown-haired kid’s chest. My qi bounced from the fallen’s light spear to me, giving me an inside view of the teen. I flashed in half a heartbeat, placed a hand on the kid’s chest, and subdued him with my qi. Once he was fully subdued, there wasn’t much he could do to fight me if it came to that. After all, it was better to snatch up powerful tools rather than leave them for others to find.
“Damn it, who the Satan are you, and why are you interfering with Gremory business,” Rias growled while raising a ball of destruction.
“Sorry, I saw a kid about to die from a light arrow and healed him. I didn’t know you devils were going to recruit him. As for the fallen.” She had two light spears, one in each hand, and planted her back against mine.
“Damn it, this time, it wasn’t an accidental stabbing, so why did you heal him.” She dared to take her eyes off the devils long enough to look at me. I felt her qi move tentatively towards mine before she shivered. The power I used to subdue her went through an update, and her golden green light aura grew even brighter. She was perhaps twice as strong as before.
“I don’t care who you are, agent of Gremory or if you healed him. He’s a friend of Gremory house, and I won’t have you touching him. So begone from my lands or face sanctions from the underworld.”
Raynare growled and grabbed my hand before flying off on her four wings. I helped her out by letting myself be carried. She wouldn’t have been able to move me if I hadn't. Instead, she took me to an abandoned church and forced me past the exorcists before pushing me onto a pew.
For a few minutes, she glared at me and paced around the room. I hadn’t dealt with fallen very much; the last time I saw her, she was healed from nearly bleeding out. My qi had done wonders to put her back together, and it seemed she had grown significantly stronger. I didn’t know how she managed to notice me after I changed my qi frequency. Only she must sense something from me because I could send and receive information from her.
She stopped pacing and glared at me. “Spill, are you god?” Raynare asked.
