Multiverse and A Vampire CH31
Added 2022-08-11 22:31:35 +0000 UTCFor the first time in my life, the emperor from Warhammer 40k became relatable. Raynare thought I was her god; whether that meant father or grandfather, it didn’t matter. In both cases, it was wrong; if anything, I was as ungodly as a person could get. Being a shadow clone with a finite life span of maybe a few months didn’t lend to a god’s disposition. Sure, I was strong, and the light suffusing my aura originated from a hypothetically multiversal version of Lucimon. It also allowed him to finally surpass the god of the digital world. I didn’t know how the light looked to her, but I had hundreds of hours of experience using it. While it appeared very impressive at first, it had become just another skill over time. Using it through my eyes was where it would become impressive.
She gave me a negative look, and I hadn’t answered her. I sucked in a breath, let it out, and felt a light spear bounce off my aura. The weapon shattered in places after it contacted Seventh Divine Cruz. Holy light at that level could easily beat back her attempts to damage me. Though it wasn’t like that mattered. A shadow clone didn’t matter in the long run. I was a finite existence.
“Good luck damaging me with that kind of effort,” I said as her light spear finally shattered.
“This doesn’t make any sense; the light rolling off you is stronger than Michael’s,” Raynare said.
“What can I say? I’ve done a little training recently?” From multiple perspectives through shadow clones, I had hundreds upon hundreds of hours of experience using my skills. Not to mention the fact that my aura was much stronger than before. Ascension was a viable skill that boosted me even further, and with a little effort, I might be able to take on some of the higher beings in this world.
The dark being that scared my original so much was nothing. I could obliterate it at any time I chose. Shadow clones had changed the game, and we were only getting started. In a year, our original would have no enemies in this verse.
Quest: Save Asia Argento from the fallen.

Reward: 1 Gotcha
“Don’t do anything to Asia Argento,” I said without knowing who that was or what they were about to do.
Raynare straightened, transfixed before snorting. “Whatever pops, so what’s your plan this time? Convert all fallen to your side and force us to repent.”
I felt personally affronted. “Just because I have the aura of a god, produce godlike light, and look like a god doesn’t make me a god. I’m definitely not the god of the bible. Have you read his book either there are two of him, or he has multiple personality disorder.”
“Oh, I’m sorry, but all you’re missing are angels to sing your praises,” Raynare said.
I sighed and got up. “We’re getting nowhere. I have a Tsukune Aono to spy on and a red head’s pussy to ravage.”
Raynare started tearing up before beating at my chest. “Why do you make me feel this way? I'd fallen, so why do you make me feel redeemed? Why do I want to please you?” She grabbed my chest and cried into my aura-formed suit. Instead of pushing her away, I brushed her dark hair and let her get it out of her system.
“What am I going to do with you? I’m not your god or even the original. I’m just a clone sent to do my original’s bidding, and you feel this way because I subdued you. These emotions you’re feeling are only in your head. They are no more real than love or guilt.” I said.
She cried, hugging me despite my words. “What do you want from me? I’ll do anything to keep this feeling.”
Fear clutched at my soul. She wanted me to give her direction and lead her to a brighter future, but I wasn’t a leader kind of clone. Leadership was for the original and the training captains; I did what I was told.
Raynare’s four wings erupted from her back and wrapped around me. She pushed me into unknown territory with the intimacy of her move. Her black wings were tipped with the lightest edge of green as my qi flowed with her light binding her to me more tightly than any spell. Unfortunately, my original’s opportunistic tendencies created this problem.”
“I’m pregnant, but that shouldn’t be possible. Female fallen are sterile.” Raynare said, and the blows kept coming. “I don’t know who the father is, and Kokabiel sent us here to provoke the Gremory heiress. If we don’t do what he says, he’ll kill us. Please save us. I’ll do anything?” Raynare fell to her knees and kissed my boots.
I sighed and made a clone cutting my remaining lifespan in half.
She looked between the new clone and me. It took her hand. “Gather the other fallen I subdued and go to America. Take the money from one of the special accounts, buy land in Arizona, and start a farm. You should last for 3 months; that should be plenty of time to get started and petition to send a replacement.
“This wasn’t ordered.” The other clone said.
“Nope, but it’s what the original would do. Besides, we’ll have our army of fallen angels in a few decades. Doesn’t that sound metal.” I said, and the other clone slowly nodded.
He shifted his form until he looked like a middle-aged businessman. “What will you do?”
“I’m going to fuck Rias Gremory and text photos to my dear little brother,” I said, channeling the original's feeling on the issue. Really, I wanted to pop her virgin devil cherry and enjoy the headache it will cause the original. My clone led Raynare away to gather her compatriots.
Quest Completed: Save Asia Argento from the fallen.
Spare the Fallen +1 Gotcha
Steal the Church as a base of operations +1 Gotcha
Don’t take a single life +1 Gotcha
Reward: 4 Gotcha
That was perhaps the easiest win I’ve ever had. I didn’t even run into Asia Argento, and I saved her. How badass was that? I went exploring through the Church and found a blonde-haired beauty changing clothes. She eeped and covered herself after I had already gotten an eye full.
“Hentai!!” Asia shouted.
“What are you doing changing in an abandoned church,” I asked as the girl shrunk away from me to hide in a corner.
“I was invited here by the angels. Will you leave so I can finish changing?” I turned my back on her and closed the door.
“Are you an angel too? I can feel your holy light.” Asia said.
“Sorry, I’m not an angel. What brings you here in this sort of place?” I asked.
“The church excommunicated me for healing a devil,” Asia said.
Her quiet voice echoed hauntingly through the empty Church. Another voice joined in on the conversation. “With those damned fallen gone, Asia and I can have our fun time; all I have to do is get rid of,” He was just spiritually aware enough to be flattened by my pressure. I sighed and looked down my nose at the ant.
“Get dressed; we’re going to Kuoh academy to introduce ourselves to the locals. Maybe we could enroll you as well, doesn’t that sound fun? School has a lot of people you can meet and make friends with. I’ll get a little money to turn this Church into a proper base of operations.” A gun went off and a bullet shattered against my aura cloak. If not for the sound, I might not have noticed it at all. I channeled my charka to send some killing intent the ant’s way.
“What’s your name, insect?” I asked.
“I’m Freed Sellzen, the exorcist who will kill you.” I upped the pressure, and Freed Sellzen collapsed face first against the wooden floor.
“Insects that bite get crushed. Are you an insect that bites creed or a harmless black ant?” I asked.
My chakra recoiled from touching the man, and if that wasn’t a bad sign, I didn’t know what was. His red eyes and white hair would fit a Castlevania protagonist, and my wife was a vampire. Threat assessment might not be my strong suit, but I could see a desperate and dangerous enemy when I saw one.
“The hell does that even mean?” Freed asked.
My lips twitched at my own false dilemma. “You’re getting crushed either way.” His eyes widened before I turned up the pressure. His body lasted a few seconds longer than a normal human, but it didn’t matter. He died in moments, unable to even scream because of the pressure. Asia was left whimpering on the other side of the door.

A page from Rias Gremory’s Diary
Between the time she had seen Arakan last and when he crossed into her territory, he had gained an unparalleled light to cast the darkest shadow. He saved fallen from her only to send them packing out of her territory. Then wearing a Kuoh uniform and a new face, he walked into Kuoh Academy with a blonde-haired nun beside him. She was certain at the time he had come to kill her.
Even if it grated on her pride, she called her brother just in case, and he arrived by teleporter not long before Arakan crossed the gate. The man turned his head toward his brother and to each of her peerage members in their strategic locations. Even Sona had a glance before Arakan found each of the Sitri peerage. Tsukune had explained to her his brother’s ability to sense others from across the planet and sometimes even through pocket dimensions. But the light she felt from him was more than anything she’d ever felt before.
“This doesn’t make sense; this light is on a level closer to higher angels than a half fallen. So your new knight’s light isn’t so powerful.” Sirzechs asked aloud.
Tsukune was a means to an end. She didn’t like how he used the human girls of Kuoh academy for sex before dumping them and moving on to the next girl. If it was to satisfy some perversion or lust, that would be understandable, but Tsukune treated it like a job. He wasn’t who she wanted, especially after Arakan tossed out their dirty laundry for the whole peerage to hear. Tsukune knew he was the silver medal in her eyes, and feeling Arakan finally cemented that to her. He should have been made a devil. Even without a sacred gear, he was ridiculously powerful. She could feel it in the light radiating from him in waves, uncaring who could feel it.
“Rias, gather what members of your peerage you can and contact Sona. I’ll meet this Arakan, but I want all of you safely in the underworld.” Serzechs said.
“Don’t be ridiculous; we fought before, but he never tried to kill any of us. Last time it didn’t go further than a fist fight.” Rias said.
Sometimes her brother could be too overprotective, and Sona had met them already.
“I won’t risk your safety; go now. I’ll get Sona out of here and confront him myself.” Sirzechs said while Rias observed the monitor for a moment before turning on the audio.
“I would like it if Asia here could attend Kuoh. She just moved here, and I’m the only person she knows her age, which isn’t good for her.” Arakan said.
“Oh no, he’s trying to enroll a girl in our school. I hope she doesn’t find out I’m bad at math. That would be the worst.” Rias said.
“Listen to me, get out now; he’s out of your league,” Sirzechs said.
The door to the office opened with Sona, Asia, and Arakan entering. Arakan looked around with the face of a very average-looking teenager. Until, with a puff of smoke, he was his normal self except wearing a green suit.
“Hey Rias, it’s been a while; how are you holding up dealing with Tsukune,” Arakan asked. He didn't look hostile despite the light energy rolling off of him in waves.
“I hope you’re not here to reconcile with him. I don’t think the school would survive.” Rias said.
“Nah, that bridge is ashes, it's rained over the scene, and everyone alive has forgotten exactly what the bridge looked like.”
“Lord Lucifer, it is a pleasure to see you in good health. I’m guessing you’re here in case the Aono’s meet.” Sona sighed. “Good call Rias; that guy has propositioned me too many times only to deflower each of my human friends one by one. It's like he’s trying to put me in check by removing pawns.” Sona said.
Her brother seemed to get the message that Arakan wouldn’t start trouble and relaxed. “What are you doing here, human?”
Arakan pointed at Asia. “She’s a shy wall flower that could use some friends. And I wanted to tell Rias I was using the Church as a base of operations.”
“What are your designs on my sister’s city?” Srizechs asked.
“I planned to get a CDL and go into trucking to raise some money,” Arakan said.
That made her pause; he seemed really into a vampire in Yokai academy. Did her imperious personality finally drive him away? Was he seeking to get away from it all and start his life? Where did Asia play into this, and where did Arakan’s mighty light energy come from? Was his mother less than devoted, but Tsukune and Arakan were twins?
“What about getting an education?” Sona asked, and that would be her interest.
“I’m not the original,” Arakan said as if that could mean anything without further elaboration.
“I sense many sources of energies swirling around you. Did you make deals with multiple gods of other pantheons?” Sirzechs asked.
“No, nothing like that. I’ve always been weird, and I’m always training and developing new abilities. A while back, I only had so many hours in a day to devote to figuring them out. That changed after I gained the power to divide my energy and make clones of myself. As a result, I can train hundreds of hours daily and learn skills I never had the time to. This body is just a shell made from mental and physical energies called chakra when mixed.”
That explained so much and so little. Rias could imagine anyone becoming overwhelmingly powerful that way. Magic users especially could become ridiculously strong if they could live one-day hundreds of times. If he was a devil, he would make high class in no time. He could win any battle with numbers alone if his strength was comparable to his enemies.
“There have to be downsides to such an ability,” Sona said.
“Clones can’t take a hit. If a solid blow connects with me, my shell will crack, and I’ll shatter in a puff of smoke. But I’ve mostly mitigated those weaknesses.”
“Why would you give us so much information about yourself?” Sirzechs said.
“It’s to your detriment if you try to root out any spies. I can change my appearance to look like anyone and mask my aura. Infiltration is a breeze. I’ve already joined many clubs I wasn’t invited to before, but I don’t have any designs on the devils. Going up against your faction wouldn’t benefit me in any way. I can’t think of anything your faction has that I couldn’t get by forming relationships or making trades.” Arakan said like it didn’t make him more suspicious.
“Who are you trying to infiltrate? Maybe we could help each other out.”
“I’m not discussing something that confidential without an NDA. Besides, my infiltration is more to see if something horrible is coming down the pipeline or not. So tell me, Lucifer, how close are we to a nuclear war.”
She hadn’t believed it before, but it was possible to completely change her brother’s disposition from a single meeting. Normally when her brother didn’t like someone, he wouldn’t ever come around. Sirzechs nodded like Arakan was making all the sense in the world.
“You’ve gotten more time to think than almost any human in history, and you’re worried the governments of the world will destroy the world. That burden isn’t yours alone to bear. So let’s sit down; Rias, have one of your peerage members bring some tea and admission papers for Asia. Your young friend and I need to talk about the world.” Sirzechs looked back at Arakan’s clone. That was a wild thought.
Arakan could clone himself and keep the memories of those clones. He essentially lived every day from multiple perspectives. Rias didn’t know if she would remain sane from such a power, but Arakan handled it well.
