Videos for May 29th - June 4th

It's Computex week! We arrived in Taiwan a few hours ago and have got setup in our hotel room.

So far all we've done is sort things out like SIM cards for Internet, public transport, and collect our Computex badges for tomorrow, so nothing else for us to really do at the moment.

Coming from winter in Australia, the humid weather will take some getting used to. Plus typhoon Mawar is headed in our general direction, so hopefully that doesn't cause any problems.

Unfortunately I can't really share what specific videos will be on the way this week like normal, because I honestly don't know! We'll be starting off with a sponsored video for MSI, which I hope will be available tomorrow (Tuesday). It sounds like they have some sort of new collab with Mercedes, not sure if it's an actual new model of laptop or (more likely) just some sort of new skin/design of an existing model.

Otherwise we'll also be visiting XMG/Tongfang for what I think is a semi factory tour, but not quite. I believe the laptops themselves are mostly produced in China, the Taiwan side might be more software/QA, but we'll know more on Wednesday.

We've also got meetings booked with Acer and ASUS. Gigabyte is here too so we might have a quick look, but they told me not to expect anything new so soon after CES. Lenovo/HP/Dell told me they won't have a presence here either, so hopefully the ones that are here have stuff worth showing. If not there might not actually be a whole lot of videos (one per brand), I might just save it for an end of show "best of" style video, we'll see!
