22nd: DDR5 x8 vs x16 Memory Comparison
23rd: 2nd Channel - ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14
25th: Lenovo Legion 5i Pro Review
As mentioned in last weeks post, we'll be away from the 22nd to 24th, so I've been working hard to have all of this done before we leave. I'm on track to finish the 5i Pro review today and the other two are already done, so all good.
I've got two videos for next week basically ready to script (testing done already) so shouldn't fall behind with the trip.
Today we've started on the ASUS Scar 15 (12900H/3080 Ti) and also retesting the G14, but with the SODIMM stick removed to see what the differences are with this on DDR5.
We also started on the Aero 16 last week, but had a few issues with programs like DaVinci Resolve/Premiere not working due to some sort of issue swapping between the iGPU and dGPU. Waiting on Gigabyte to get back to us before we spend more time on it.
I'm also expecting the Zephyrus M16 and XG Mobile for the Z13 with RX 6850M XT to arrive on Friday. I'll probably compare that with the 3080 eGPU, unfortunately there's no 3080 Ti XGM so we can't compare the best from AMD and Nvidia, but hopefully still interesting.
