Videos for August 1st - 7th

It's another 3 video week, and lots to update you on!

All videos are basically ready to roll, so we're working on other things for future videos this week. We're going away for my partners birthday later this month, so we've been working to make sure there's enough content to go up while we're away.

Last week I bought a 2022 Legion 5 with RTX 3060 and 6800H, though it doesn't ship for about 4 weeks. I asked a couple of my Lenovo contacts if they'd be sending one over for me to borrow, but I didn't get a reply for days and the sale that was going was too good to pass up, so ended up pulling the trigger. Probably better for me to just own such a popular model anyway, as it will allow me to do more content with it rather than sending it back after the review.

I also bought 2x MSI GF63 laptops with i5-11400H. One with GTX 1650 and the other with RTX 3050 graphics. It's a comparison I probably should have made a year ago, but better late than never right? Again there was a good sale.

We've been fortunate to have a few companies running ads last month and this month (still a few to come), so that money has been re-invested with these 3x laptops.

Right now I'm finishing up some testing on the Ryzen 7 5800H in XMG's Neo 15 so I can fairly compare it with the 6800H in their newer Neo 15, so a comparison between those is coming. It probably won't be for a few weeks though as there's just so much content to work through!

Otherwise I'll be editing the reviews for the IdeaPad Gaming 3i and Dell G15 5520 today, though the videos won't go out until next week and the week after. I'll also have some shorter channels for the 2nd channel on the IdeaPad and GE67.

My partner finished testing on the Alienware x17 R2 last week, so that's with me now. She's finishing testing on the ASUS Zephyrus Duo 16 later today and then that will be with me too. I did the thermal testing and battery tests of both over the weekend, so I'll be able to get into filming them and starting on the usual review tasks.

This morning she's started on testing ~15 games and apps at 1080p and 1440p on MSI's GE67 HX. This laptop has a full powered 150W 3070 Ti, so we're going to use that to compare against a desktop 3070 Ti after it being suggested in Discord.

Once she finishes the Duo 16, she'll be moving onto testing XMG's Neo 17 later today (6900HX + 3080 Ti + liquid cooling). I've just finished setting it up and it looks quite nice so far!
