TrueNAS is a fantastic storage server, but virtualization has never been its strong suit. With the introduction of TrueNAS Scale, it's now possible to install Plex with full hardware acceleration for video encoding, whether you're running as a Plugin or in a Virtual Machine. This video will walk you through both setups.
