floating bricks, on which people run around. But mostly what's on my mind.

Hey there guys, figured I'd pry open my head here for you and let out some of my thoughts on what I'm animating, and what I want to animate.

Since I released Powerless.fla I've been focusing back on mc11.  With Madness Day only two months away I'm trying to heft the remaining work to be done on it in one hand, judging if I can get it done before then, while at the same time doing it in the mornings and late evenings surrounding my time spend on Project Nexus.

On one hand I want to just burn every last spare minute I can on mc11, getting it done asap whether I reach the release date of september 22nd or not, and on the other I want to stay the course and fold in the final dedmos adventure. Releasing it before completing mc11.  It really just comes down to which one I want to get done first and until I make an executive decision (which will have to be soon) I will keep working on mc11.  I'll keep you posted, but I'd love to have your input, considering that your support is a form of guidance.

mc11 sits at well over six minutes currently and could run on to seven. It's pretty densely packed with assets, which I'm interested to see if it pays off in the end.  It's entirely possible that I obsessed over far too many details that literally don't matter, which only compounded the delay of this cartoon further.

But hey, the last two years of my life have been the best two years of my life.

I say finish up Dedmos for a Madness Day release. Max out the hype. Then release MC11 when it's good and done.

Either way, I'm more excited for Madness now than I have ever been, and I've been around since MC3. This new level of interaction really makes everything feel more like they're "our cartoons" as opposed to "krinkels' cartoons," if that makes any sense. Little things like letting us choose how Deimos got stabbed, even if they make absolutely no difference in the long run, just feel really good to see in the final product. "I was in that stream! I voted for that! That's what I wanted!" That type of thing.

My two cents, for what they're worth: I'm just as as excited for MC 11 as anyone else, but it's been such a long time since MC 10 that a couple extra months kind of doesn't mean much at this point.Dedmos has been an entirely different experience than anything else Madness has offered us before. These short little pieces of a larger story in fairly quick succession have been a really nice change of pace to the occasional Newgrounds screenshot every few months we've been used to over the years. I'd personally like to see Dedmos continue on the pace you set, and then once it is done, MC11 will happen when it happens.

I think It'd be a good idea to focus on MC11 for the time being: The adventures of Dedmos can be released whenever, but MC11 deserves to be released on Madness Day. I look forward to any of your projects either way.

I wouldn't mind either way, I can't wait to see both videos. But considering mc11 has a "deadline" (Madness Day) and the final Dedmos adventure doesn't, I say perhaps prioritize mc11 in time to be done for Madness Day, and if progress seems good enough (it sounds like it is) then spend what's left of your time on Deimos adventure. It's great to hear it's been the best time of your life so far, I hope it only gets better from here! KEEP IT UP, KRINKS!!

That’s tough. On one hand I’ve been waiting for MC11 for 6-7 years now and my hype is through the roof. On the other hand I wouldn’t object to another dedmos cartoon. If the dedmos cartoon is gonna be longer for this final one I’m all for it. If not I’m good just going straight to MC11. You’re the boss though.
