In mc11 I've reached a point where I could have done that, or I could have animated just a tiiiiny bit more to divulge just a little more story, hinting at what is next instead of just closing the book and thanking you for your time. The ending is still pretty abrupt, in the manner you're accustomed to, from me, but I'm taking a bit of a victory lap which I spent the last two days planning and keyframing out. it will literally be done this weekend unless my computer burns down (it won't) at which point the sfx go in.
That part could take a bit of time.
While I have failed you, I will not make a 2018 release, we will be able to start the new year pretty well with this ugly beast coming out in the first days of 2019.
It's weird to watch it. The stuff going on at the beginning, the middle, the end, I can see the parts where I threw my hands up and fell deep into the various psychosis that were plaguing me, and if you look closely, you can see where I picked up the reigns and leaned into it, like some kinda dork with his arms back, sprinting all naruto style.
