Didn’t know it from the name “General Dodonna” I just figured they were the same Y-Wings. I’m starting to realize that some of the episodes that feel like filler, set up other things else where that I’m just not aware of lol

He is the rebel leader who plans and oversees the attack on the Death Star. So some of the starfighters stolen in this episode were given to him and were used in the rebel attack on the Death Star.
