Yup, that actress that plays Admiral Kane was in Star Trek The Next Generation, but according to the guy above, she was in DS9 also.

We have never watched Deep Space Nine, were new to the Trek universe, only seen up to our Voyager and Discovery reactions.
Pegasus… fix it jesus 😳, they are ruthless, how did we fall so far off the tracks 😭. I will never understand how people do that type of crap, I got too much of a heart, it makes me sick 😷. Definitely a good episode over all, if our time was limited today I would’ve watched the next one tbh

Ah yes, the long-awaited episode has come. Definitely feels like a movie doesn't it? And you may not realize it, but Admiral Cain (Michelle Forbes) also plays Ro Laren on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
A very tough episode to follow, and Pegasus Six's torture reminiscent of the infamous Abu Ghraib prison torture of POWs in Iraq under Saddam Hussein leading up to the Iraq War in '03. And to think that the imprisoned Six went through much abuse, sexual assault and rape, how much did the Pegasus crew have to break her considering Cylons are physically stronger?
What a way to finish an episode though, to start with a hopeful nature and turn the tables.
A Mercury-class battlestar together with a Jupiter-class battlestar (e.g. Galactica) definitely is a morale booster (picture an old WWII era Iowa-class batleship vs. modern Ford-class carrier we see on modern US navy aircraft carriers) but as the show always puts out, it's not what it seems.
The next episodes (which is into two parts), are gonna be also great.
